Hey guys, my friend and I are starting up a 2s team in a few weeks and I'm just wondering what would be the better spec to go with, Affliction SL/SL or Destro. I'm alot more experienced with destro but stats show that SL/SL has more success in arena with resto shamans. If anyone could shed some light on why this is or what would be the best way to go. Thanks in advance

Affliction is the primary and better arena spec, especially with a healer partner.

If you want to see the best results, roll affliction. If you want to challenge yourself, roll destruction.

Affliction will be hell boring.. Destro sucks with healer.. Persuade him to go elemental for easy wins..

Affli is hell boring yeah, but destro is also hell nice with heal sham. you're burst is good enough to kill a warr while he's healed by a druid, with good timed Heroism/Bloodlust its kickass.

Hmmm i guess Affliction it is i always have destro for BGs so that evens out thnx

If you play with a resto shaman as affli is booring and i don`t think you will nuke them before they kill your shaman.As destro , a shaman can help you with bloodlust, hex , purge, frost shock, an some damage and you can nuke them more quick than affli.Try both ways and see what suits you

I've found while doing skirmish that i am able to apply more pressure to both the dps an the healer with affliction which therefore makes it alot easier to micro manage by dotting both opponents and then CCing either healer or dps. But with destro most of the time after my burst its just not enough to bring either dps or healer down which is just stressful lol. Even though destro is a very fun spec im more fond of affliction now
